Backdoor Backcountry 4x4 Tour
A network of 4x4 backroads exploring canyons, mesas, buttes, and bridges in the Moab area.
Experience a private 4×4 tour through jaw-dropping scenery, hidden arches, and breathtaking landscapes beyond the National Parks — discover what makes Moab truly unforgettable! We’ll wind our way between mesas and buttes to sandstone bridges, gaze into the distance at Deadhorse Point, and descend toward the Colorado river through a rock tunnel. Half Day drive or Full Day tour with optional light walking and picnic lunch.
This tour follows existing 4×4 roads rated Easy to Moderate in addition to some paved highway driving. Expect a bumpy ride with varied terrain and some jarring. Tour vehicles include Jeeps and 4Runners.
